Fishing Reel VINTAGE ZEBCO Cardinal 3 spinning REEL Circa 1970

The reel shows it's use. Worn off paint in usual areas. The screw that holds the bail on the left was lost and I couldn't get an Original at the time so I put some washers a screw/bolt that works. It has the original bail spring that needs replacement for sometimes the bail doesn't complete the return. It does however click easily with the handle turning. The drag worked excellent. Man the fish I landed on flies I tied and on a 12' Fenwick HMG noodle rod I built with SIC guides. Using 2# leaders. Great reel. I wish I would have been able to purchase 5 but I was in my teens and the $47 was a lot of money back then. Is still today it seems. I am theOriginal owner. Bought in the late 70s. I don't know what I did with the box instructions and schematics. The pictures are of the exact reel and spool you will receive.
Mostly used for Lake Michigan drift fishing for trout species.
