Vintage Shakespeare Au Sable Fly Fishing Reel #1864-GD This is a vintage fully functional Shakespeare Au Sable single action fly fishing reel. Model 1864-GD. This revision was released in 1947 so the reel is from the later 1940’s or the early 1950’s. Reel has a 3 1/2” diameter and a 7/8” I.D.for the spool. Reel weighs 6.8 oz. Finish is Forest green with a natural aluminum spool. Chrome plated line guard. Reel is fully functional and shows some wear from use. Will ship well protected and insured.
