Vintage Pflueger Summit 1993L Fishing Spin Casting Reel - Works. Local fisherman looked it over, spins well. Needs cleaning, see photos. There is some cork material wrapped around the spool as a spacer' I haven't messed with it.
I can't tell you much about the history of any reels I list because local fishermen along the shore of Lake Superior know I give away
fishing equipment to kids every spring so they give me their old gear to repair if possible. Some that I sell, like this, is for the dollars to
buy inexpensive beginner rods and reels to give out. Most of the time I buy new equipment from Walmart or such to give the local
kids because that's what they need. They have fun destroying them and come back the next year for more. I don't collect these
vintage reels and if it sounds like I know anything about them it is from researching similar reels on Pricetronic to quess a price. Also I pick
up equipment at yard and garage sales. Sometimes I'll have a fisherman look over a reel and tell me if it works. That is the low level
of my knowledge. Please see all the photos, they will tell more than I can.
