Penn Senator 14/0 117 Big Game Reel Vintage With Original Box circa

This is a NEW Penn Senator Game Fish Reel from the legendary Penn Fishing Tackle Company of Philadelphia, PA.
In 1936, Penn Fishing Tackle made history with the introduction of the Penn Senator series. These reels featured a star drag system that added both consistency and precision to the reel's operation, an advancement that remains in production to this day.
By the end of the 1950s, Penn reels came in 77 different models and world record catches were increasingly being made on its tackle.
This reel was purchased at the famous outdoor store, Corcoran's of Stoughton, MA in the late 1950's and was never used. It was kept in it's original box for almost 65 years.
This reel hasn't been used, restored, repaired, or altered in any way.
It has been recently lubricated.
The orange colored reflection on the reel is of my phone case. The reel is not discolored and has no toning.
