Van Staal® VF SERIES 7LW Reel
An incredibly light weight reel, machined from barstock 6061-T aluminum featuring one of the smoothest sealed disc drag reels on the market. The LW is the light weight series of successor reels to their award winning C-Vex reels. Relentless refinement has enabled them to reduce weight while incorporating a lighter duty version of their famous drag design. Type 2 anodized and suitable for freshwater and light duty saltwater fishing situations.
The Van Staal VF7LW would be a great companion to your favorite 6-7-8 wt rod and would work well for trout, bass, steelhead and even as a lightweight bonefish reel
