You are bidding on a Excellent to flawless Sage Mod full fly fishing outfit including:
1.) Sage Mod 7130-4 (13ft 7wt)
2.) Sage Spey Reel 6/7/8
3.) 500gr Rio Skagit Max Shooting Head
4.) .032 shooting line
5.) Assorted medium skagit tips including full sinking, variable sinking, floating and hybrid sinking/floating tips.
Rod was used 3-4 times over one season (only during a fall salmon season). Rod is in excellent to near mint condition. Cork was sealed on day one before any fishing (I do a four-stage process with thin coats that protects the cork permanently although does darken it and enhance grain to a minor extent) and is like new condition without missing filler or soiling. Reels is in like new condition will little to no wear, minor scuff, etc. Rod and setup lives in a smoke free home that is humidity controlled. Rod has minimal wear on the reel seat and on ferrule ends, typical for rod assembly. This is a fantastic deal on a packaged that cost me >$1600 when new. It's well balanced and extremely attractive (at least I think so...). I don't spey fish for trout or salmon nearly enough to justify keeping it. I hope you enjoy it and happy bidding!
