The Qualia NLF 70 reel is the largest of the Qualia spinning reel line.
It is used for everything from bottom fishing to trolling to casting for big lunker fish
Many charter ca[tains are using this reel instead of a conventional reel because they can let the novice people alone and not have to watch how they are reeling in a fish.
The reel has 7 SS bearings, 7 drag elements including metal, fiber, carbon fiber, Teflon and fiber.
The body of the reel is powder coated for very long life, the reel is made from aircraft grade aluminum, and the alloy is chosen for marine use.
The gears are brass and the shafts are SS.
because of the strength of the reel it has dual anti reverse cams as the reel is rated at 18 to 20 pounds of drag.
The dual cams give the reel 36 stopping points in the rotation of the spool.
The spool has a specially coated lip to allow you to use braid or mono line with no damage to the spool. We also offer extra spools at additional cost for people that want to carry different lines.
The oscillation system on the reel adjusts to mono or braid for the retrieve.
