Serviced Penn International II Reels 50T Dura Drag Pair Lot 2 Reels Single Speed
These are called International II because they were the second generation of this model. The first generation used a stand and bars - the II received an upgraded 1pc tube frame. This particular set is 2004 production - long after the II was first introduced. The significance of that is these have some N series parts such as the 1-50TN handle side plate which has an integrated bridge.
These reels also have 117DN-50 Drive Plate Assemblies with Dura-Drag Washers, and stainless steel13-50 pinion gears.
The 50T is the narrow single speed which holds 550yds of 50lb mono. A nearly complete service has been performed on both - i DID NOT remove the drag cover or do anything to the drag, also did not touch the clicker. Both of these areas are clean and functioning well so I opted to skip these 2 steps.
Beyond that, the pictures show what has been done. Basic strip down, clean parts, re-grease and re-assemble. Both reels crank smooth and all functions operating well. D040060 has a fair bit of rash on the cross bar with the serial number.
I attempted to showcase in the pictures that the inside of these reels is free of rust and corrosion and is overall in very good condition. The damage to the exterior (which I also tried to show) happened in shipping to me. The person I bought them from did a terrible job in packaging them which BTW is never a problem when buying from ME.
