New Old Stock Penn 706z —Custom Painted By Late Chuck Hell—Reel Restorer Back In The Nineties.
This Reel is from my late Twin Brothers collection —it is one of two that Chuck Hell did for my Twin brother . Chuck was well know up and down the Northeast coast as the Reel Restorer did for my brother back in the late nineties —
The Reel is flawless and would make a great show piece or add to any Penn collection , as this is much nicer paint work to want to use to fish —comes with the box -paperwork and schematics
Reels done by the Reel Restorer are getting extremely hard to find , most are probably in collections and rarely come to sale .
When you see this in person it looks like a piece of Art .
This Reel was painted with a high gloss black enamel and than was baked for a few hours to add super durability to the paint. The Reel was New when Chuck received it , my brother wanted it to have a high gloss look to the paint and all internal are as new so it’s getting a brand New 706z and in my opinion actually better due to the exceptional paintwork the Chuck did to these Reels . You can own a piece of a small contribution done to Penn Reels that brought them back to life as works of Art or if you wanted to fish them .
