Mitchell 440A Reel Silver Match Rare Restored!

This is a Silver  Engraved Script Mitchell Match Auto Bail 440A with Raised name plate in Silver.  Circa  1987.   * Note This Version has a Silver AR lever and  Engraved Match very few made!  This is a Euro Release almost never sold on this side of the Pond .  Reel is fully functional. Bail Lock is working , Silent AR is perfect. A Shallow spool and a New Baffle Plate has 4 hold down points , Very important when buying  ABs. All New Bail assembly, Handle,  new Face plate Screws and much much more..  Bail is super crisp and Silky everything is working like Factory new. Spins Silky Smooth ! Mechanically 10++ Paint 9.6 Another Rare Gem from my Collection , buyer again will be very amazed of the  Quality of Restoration !
These Reels ( Auto Bails ) almost never are working properly due to the complexity of the Bails system. All of my AB listings are preforming like new after a minimum of 2 hours or more of complete breakdown cleaning and replacing all excessively worn parts with NOS parts. Note Try not to drop ABs , they are sensitive to Bails Bending. This reel will last another 30 years if taken care of properly !                                  Buying one of my Reels takes the worries out of sub standard AB  listings. Your Store bought Reel will never last that long! A Testament to the Mitchell Legend of Reels !
