John A. COZZONE No. 1600 Bass Reel 100 yard Freespool Four Pillar Narrow

(UNIQUE) COZZONE 100 yard Freespool Four Pillar Narrow Spool German Silver/Hard Rubber Circa-1922-31. This is a very Unique example of a reel I can find very little about. I cannot find it listed in any books or catalogs. I recently saw another one shown on Facebook with the Comment of “ I finally found this rare COZZONE” and thats the only time I have ever seen this reel. Does not mean Im not missing something somewhere but I find it UNIQUE. Extremely Spectacular Reel made with a Heavy Edward Vom Hofe influence. Reel is in fantastic condition. This Reel has unbanded Bakelite plates that are in very good condition. The reels foot and handle are both German Silver and very clean. Face mounted Freespool lever works perfectly. Rear mounted clicker works great. Simply a elegant reel that Looks and functions like new. Great Reel. *NOTE: After I made this listing I was informed this reel is a Model No. 1600 marketed as the Bass Reel. I changed the header to show this Model Number.
