Perfect from throwing both jigs and bait, the Saltist 2-Speed LD, has free spooling capabilities that help your presentation get to the strike zone fast. Additionally, the 6.3:1 gear ratio is great for picking up line fast when you need to get your bait up quickly to hop the next spot or giving maximum action to your jig via a fast retrieve. The 3.1:1 gear ratio, on the other hand, has all the strength and power you need to winch big fish up to the boat and anglers can easily swap between speeds with the One Touch gear shift.
All-told these reels have you covered for a wide range of offshore saltwater fishing techniques. The large 50 size reel is great for trolling, while the smaller sizes are excellent for jigging and bottom fishing.
