Garcia Mitchell 410A spinning reel, manufactured in France in May, 1979, serial number J124305 stamped on the foot.
The reel stem was reinforced toward the end of 1978, with the reinforcement of the line guide area on the bail arm.

The reel has been used, and the paintwork has some rubbing on the edges of the housing and the rotating head,
and on the foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a solid click.
This is a very good condition, fully functioning, nearly 45 year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
