1971 Garcia Mitchell 300C Spinning Reel, in Matching Number Box and

Garcia Mitchell 300C spinning reel, with precision roller bearings, manufactured in France in 1971, serial number 9481386 engraved on the foot and printed on a white label stuck to the side of the box. Comes in black and red clam shell box with 300C label and extra spool in undamaged container.

This reel has been used, and the paintwork has some rubs on the edges of the housing, rotating head and foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a loud click. The box is solid, with no cracks (see pictures), and the extra spool is in an undamaged plastic container.
This is a very good condition, fully functioning, 50+ year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
